Reef Code A - Brightwell Aquatics

Reef Code A is the calcium component of a balanced two-part dosing system designed to maintain calcium and alkalinity at natural seawater levels. When used in equal parts with Reef Code B, it delivers ionically balanced calcium and carbonates to support the health and growth of reef-building organisms such as corals, clams, and calcareous algae.

Formulated by marine scientists, Reef Code A is highly concentrated—stronger than many competing products—and contains no phosphates, silicates, or organic additives. It simplifies calcium supplementation while ensuring precision and stability in reef aquariums.

Purified water, calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate, strontium chloride, magnesium chloride

Usage Tips:

Shake well before use. Do not mix with Reef Code B in the same container. For best results, maintain magnesium between 1,290–1,320 ppm before use.

Basic Dosage:

Add 5 ml per 25 US gallons every other day or as needed to maintain calcium between 412–450 ppm.

Advanced:

Each ml raises calcium by ~16 ppm per 1 gallon. Use a reliable test kit and adjust dosage based on your system’s daily calcium consumption.
